Day-by-day programme
Day 1
Zanzibar → Tarangire National Park
Early flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, met by your guide and straight on the road south-west (about 2 hours). Enter Tarangire before midday for a full game drive along the river: elephant families digging for water, giraffe among the baobabs, and dry-season concentrations of zebra and wildebeest. Picnic lunch in the park and a second afternoon loop before checking into your lodge near the gate.

Lake Manyara → Zanzibar
Breakfast at sunrise, then into Lake Manyara National Park — groundwater forest with blue monkeys and baboon troops, open floodplain with buffalo, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Flamingo and pelican line the soda lake shore. Lunch after the drive, transfer to Arusha airport for the late-afternoon flight to Zanzibar and your hotel transfer.
